In August 2022, Pioneer Construction, Inc. proudly broke ground on The Digby Hotel, a boutique hospitality project by Digby Investments. Located at 200 West Bryan Street, The Digby occupies the last untouched lot on Ellis Square—one of Savannah’s most iconic and historic public spaces.

This six-story boutique hotel is designed to blend seamlessly with the historic charm of downtown Savannah. Both the exterior architecture and interior design reflect the classic aesthetic of the city’s heritage. Once complete, The Digby will offer:

• A Basement Lounge
• A Main Street Restaurant
• Four floors featuring 36 luxury guest rooms
• A Rooftop Restaurant & Bar with stunning city views

To maximize the footprint of the site, the structure was designed with zero lot lines—coming within just six inches of the neighboring parking garage. This tight urban footprint presents unique construction challenges, but the final result will feel like a natural extension of the historic square—as if it has always been there.

Positioned adjacent to City Market, The Digby offers guests immediate access to one of Savannah’s most vibrant cultural and entertainment hubs. From art galleries and fine dining to live music and local shops, visitors will experience the best the city has to offer right outside the hotel’s front door.

The Digby’s two restaurants and underground lounge will not only elevate the guest experience but also contribute to the growing culinary and nightlife scene in City Market—providing three new, distinctive options for both tourists and Savannah locals.
