
![]() Linda JaegerpresidentLinda Jaeger is the President and Operations Manager of Pioneer Construction, Inc. She brings to her position more than 29 years of accounting and operations management experience and is intimately familiar with construction project management and public relations. Mrs. Jaeger co-founded PIONEER Construction in 1995. Prior to PIONEER she was vice president and operations manager for another Savannah construction company. In her role as president, Linda controls all of PIONEER's financial operations and directs company policy and philosophy. She also coordinates construction projects with owners and architects and oversees the utilization of all company resources. Some of the recent projects she has managed include the $1.8 million Golf Villas at Southbridge, the $950,000 BB&T Savannah Mall branch and the $250,000 LivFit Personal Training Studio. ![]() Tim Thuresonexecutive vpTim Thureson co-founded PIONEER Construction and holds the position of Executive Vice President and Project Manager. He has over 18 years experience in integrated construction project management. Prior to PIONEER Construction he was a project manager and estimator for a Savannah general contractor. As Executive Vice President and Project Manager, Mr. Thureson’s responsibilities include analyzing, bidding and negotiating contracts, preparing project estimates, developing efficiency plans for various aspects of construction and managing and supervising field superintendents and subcontractors. In addition, he coordinates projects with owners and architects and prepares and performs all project accounting and documentation. Recent projects that he’s been involved with include St. Anne’s Parish Life Center in Richmond Hill, the South University Campus development and the Hospice of Savannah renovation and addition. ![]() Lydia Barrettassistant project manager / pre-construction assistantLydia joined the PIONEER team in 2009 and is working closely with the project management team focusing on Pre-Construction Services / Estimating, and as a Project Management Assistant. Lydia has over 4 years of experience in the construction industry and has worked previously with McKnight Construction and Akins Construction. She graduated from Statesboro High and attended Ogeechee Tech before moving to Savannah. Lydia also is a founding member of the local National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC) chapter and is currently a member of the Board of Directors. She also previously served the Chapter as Recording Secretary. Lydia is a native of Statesboro, Georgia, and she and her husband (Jonathan) recently moved to Savannah. ![]() Barry Fransenproject managerBarry joined PIONEER in 2006 following a seven-year stint with another local construction company. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management from Georgia Southern University, and works in the firm's Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) department. Barry's completed project list includes a $450,000 renovation of an existing structure in downtown Savannah that now is home to the The Melting Pot, multiple projects for Savannah State University, First National Bank locations in Richmond Hill and Tybee Island, Woodlawn Baptist Church and various projects at Georgia Ports Authority. ![]() Graham Cooperproject managerGraham's fifteen years of experience managing projects in the construction industry is marked by over $7 million in all facets of commercial and residential construction. He is an alumni of Savannah Country Day School and the University of Georgia, from which he earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications. Graham is a woodworking and renovation expert as well, making him a valuable team member in many different applications. His project resume is extensive and includes work completed at the Savannah Visitor's Center, Bryan Bank and Trust, Oglethorpe Office Park, Thomas & Hutton and Armstrong Atlantic State University. Candace Forkneroffice manager / accounts payable and receivableCandace joined the PIONEER team in 2010 and is involved in many aspects of day to day operations. Candace's daily responsibilities include assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, managing the company's telephone and fax lines, maintaining office records, purchasing and disbursement of supplies, and serving as a point of contact for many of the sub-contractors and vendors we do business with daily. Candace received her BS in Marketing from Georgia Southern University and previously worked in the residential construction industry for 6 years. She moved to Savannah in 1998 and her and her husband have two children. |
