Fairway Lincoln Renovations

fairway workIn July of 2015, Pioneer completed a full renovation of Fairway Lincoln including an entire interior/exterior remodeling of the 4,560 SF sales floor, restrooms, staff offices and common area. The dealership received a new state of the art façade, including metal panels, new storefront glass and a new brand tower. Also included were new interior finishes with new furnishings throughout, ceramic tile and architectural millwork. The entire 21,480 SF renovation project included a new service lane with roll up doors, paver driveway, repaving of the parking lot, a new roof and metal paneled ceilings.

JC Lewis Ford Renovations

jc lewis interiorPioneer Construction just completed renovations to 10,850 SF at the JC Lewis Dealership located at 9505 Abercorn Extension. The scope of work included renovations to the main sales floor area, rear customer service offices and a completely new look to the front fa├žade of the dealership including an impressive new brand tower. Upgrades to the front entrance included modifications to the concrete sidewalk/entrance and new aluminum storefront. The rear customer service area received new ceramic tile, casework and solid surface countertops.  Additional completed project photos are viewable here.

PCI Celebrates 20th Anniversary

20th anniversaryTim and Linda and the Pioneer Family are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Pioneer Construction, Inc.!   Weathering the storm that hit the construction industry in mid 2000, Pioneer Construction has emerged to become a stronger, more diversified company. A unique combination of new and existing office staff and field personnel, as well as a commitment to implementing improved technology will enable Pioneer to continue to provide the best quality and service in Savannah and the surrounding areas. Pioneer would like to thank everyone who helped make the last 20 years so memorable! We know the next 20 years will be even better!

Cloverdale Community Center Completed

cloverdaleCompletion of the Cloverdale Community Center could not have been more welcomed by the Cloverdale neighborhood in west Savannah. The much needed building finally got approved after a long awaited intergovernmental agreement between the City of Savannah, SCCPS and Chatham County. The 5,350 SF community center was constructed by Pioneer Construction according to drawings issued by Lominack Kolman Smith Architects. The facility includes a 120 seat multi-purpose room, computer room, fitness room, kitchen, pantry and restrooms.

Bradley Pointe Fire Station Completed

bradley pointIn January of 2015, Pioneer Construction completed the construction of the 11,000 SF Bradley Pointe Fire Station. Savannah Fire & Emergency Services’ newest station serves the southwestern portion of the city and is the prototype design for future projects. The station was designed according to FEMA standards for emergency facilities and has improved common and sleeping areas for firefighters who work long shifts. Although the facility was completed within budget and on schedule, the City of Savannah was most proud that the project was completed with only one change order.

Therapy Room Donation at Windsor Forest Elementary

Therapy RoomContributions and time donated by Windsor parents and Pioneer Construction volunteers helped transform a classroom at Windsor Forest Elementary School into a new and improved therapy room benefiting students with special needs. Cushioned pads were installed on the walls and floors along with a custom therapy swing.   Various therapeutic toys were also added to enhance to use of the room. Children from across the school board are coming to Windsor to utilize the space and teachers say they have seen a major improvement with the students using the room. At Pioneer, projects like this one that have a positive impact on children’s lives are truly rewarding!

ARBORIS Corporate HQ Completed

arboris frontPioneer Construction recently completed the construction of the 9,121 SF corporate headquarters for ARBORIS, the world’s largest producer of sterols. Since its inception in 2001, the name ARBORIS derived from the Latin word which means “of the tree” has become synonymous with world class, cost effective, dependable, stable and long term supply of sterols. Phytosterols are believed to be essential in reducing overall cholesterol levels. The ARBORIS ISO 9002-certified grassroots plant was completed in 2004 and expanded in 2005 to double its capacity to meet growing customer demand and new product opportunities. In 2014 the Chilean corporation built the new state of the art facility to house their corporate headquarters.
