Pioneer Launches Online Planroom

Pioneer Construction recently launched a new tool designed to assist sub-contractors and suppliers in preparing and submitting pricing for projects that the company is currently pursuing.

The online Planroom will serve as the central location that houses the plans, specifications and bid documents for projects that are in the bid phase.  Invited bidders will be given a unique username and password that will allow them access to the documents.

"There are many reasons for supplying plans and specs online to our sub-contractor and supplier base - not the least of which is that this is a more cost effective means of securing business for the small business owners that we work with on a daily basis.  By providing these documents at no charge to our sub base, we are in essence saving them money and providing for the best possible pricing for our clients," said Linda Jaeger, President of Pioneer Construction.

"As a MWBE firm, we are committed to assisting other MWBE's in the industry - this is one way that we can accomplish this goal." added Jaeger.

The PCI Planroom was incorporated into the redesign and launch of the company's new website.

altPCI Supports ReBuild Savannah

On May 1st, the Pioneer team worked to help a Savannah resident spruce up her home.  PCI donated hundreds of hours of labor and materials to renovate and make this home handicap accessible.  The cosmetic renovations included sheetrock repair and painting, while ADA upgrades included the construction of a new handicap ramp, replacing the bath tub with a handicap accessible walk-in / soaker tub and installing hand rails.

All in all, it was a long, hard day of work, but well worth it to give Mrs. Thornton a home that meets her needs and makes her comfortable.
